Madeline Ludtke
Art & Illustration
Madeline Ludtke is an artist, illustrator, doodler, and registered art therapist living in Boston, Massachusetts.
Madeline grew up in Minnesota and decided when she was in first grade that she was going to be an artist. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration from the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire. Madeline has since completed commissioned artwork in a variety of art media, but her primary focus is her mixed media cut paper collages.
Madeline also enjoys encouraging others to get involved in artmaking, and she has taught art to people of all ages and backgrounds.
In addition to creating art, Madeline loves to travel whenever an opportunity arises. Madeline spent five months working with Art Relief International, a non-profit art outreach program based in Thailand, where she organized and facilitated art workshops for communities around Chiang Mai. Through this experience, Madeline discovered a passion for connecting with and helping others through the art-making process.
Madeline received her master’s degree in art therapy and clinical mental health counseling from Lesley University. She strives to continue to create her own art while also supporting and empowering others through the arts as a practicing art therapist.
Madeline is always up for new challenges and is available for freelance artwork.
